Before School Program

Caring staff supervise Kindergarteners through 8th graders as they arrive, enjoy a nutritious breakfast, and ease into the morning age-appropriate activities before the school day begins.

Hours of Operation

When school is closed for breaks, teacher in-service, or due to weather, the Club is closed. The Club follows the Perham-Dent school district calendar.

Structured, Meaningful, & Relevant

Serves youth Kindergarten through 8th grade

Designed to build self-esteem and allow your child(ren) to develop and succeed academically, socially, and civically by incorporating 5 Key Elements into each and every day.

School-Aged Fee Schedule

Boys & Girls Club of the Perham Area accepts Child Care Assistance (CCAP). You must provide the Club with documentation of your eligibility. You are responsible for any copays or costs not covered by CCAP. If you are denied CCAP, there may be additional limited scholarships available to cover some, not all, of the programming fees.

Transportation

Before School Program
Members participating in the Before School Program walk to HOTL Elementary or PWMS under staff supervision and follow established walking procedures. Transportation to St. Paul’s and St. Henry’s is provided through Z-Transportation and coordinated through the school.

Weather-related adjustments may occur during heavy rain or severe cold (feels-like temperature of -16°F
or colder). In these situations, van transportation may be provided by Club-insured drivers in accordance with Minnesota Child Passenger Safety laws.
