Sawyer joined Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes as a first grader and hardly remembers a life without the support and encouragement of the Club and its staff. As a parent, I was sad when he aged out of programming. Sawyer and I were thrilled when $2 Tuesdays at the Teen Center were announced! This is an awesome opportunity for him to have fun, see friends, spend time with staff and continue the positive influence that Boys and Girls Club has had in his development. It's another place to belong, and all teens need a safe place where they feel accepted.
