What began as a bold vision to inspire generosity across the region has grown into one of the largest giving events in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Each year, Giving Hearts Day unites thousands of donors, businesses, and nonprofits for 24 hours of generosity, enabling organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of Detroit Lakes & Perham to amplify every gift through matching funds and create brighter futures for local youth.

- January 2027 – Early giving opens.
- Day of 12:01 AM – online giving opens
