History of the Event
What started as a dream to make a lasting difference for local youth has become one of Detroit Lakes’ most inspiring nights of the year. Created by Detroit Lakes local Luke Eggebraaten, founder and CEO of Phaser Marketing, and brought to life each year by the incredible Phaser Marketing team, the Black Tie Gala brings together community members to celebrate, connect, and help create brighter futures for the youth of Becker County
Order/timeline of event
- 7:00 PM – Doors open and you can take a stroll down the red carpet while feeling like the paparazzi is catching your finest moment
- 7:20 PM – The live music, hors d’oeuvres, networking, and fun begin
- 8:00 PM – Paddles for a Purpose + Program from Phaser Marketing and Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes begins
- 9:30 PM – Check presentation, live music, and dancing
- 10:00 PM – Time to head home after a great night
Where Do the Funds Go?
100% of net proceeds directly support Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes programs and the caring, highly trained staff who mentor youth every day. Together, they help children build confidence, strengthen academic and social skills, develop leadership, and gain the tools they need to succeed for a lifetime.
